WELCOME TO OUR ART ROOM
CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT
My goal as an educator is to guide students to become active and productive members of society. I aim to treat every student as an individual and listen and understand his or her concerns. Through the use of small groups, individual and collaborative work I accommodate to the diversities that occur within every class. The key to keeping students engaged is: knowing how they learn best so that I may make learning enjoyable for every one of my students. This is also key in behavior management, where a student who is engaged is less likely to be disruptive. To teach art you must find the balance between instruction and investigation, often times when students are given the freedom to use their own creativity the most successful art is created. Most of all, great instruction should be flexible, well organized and oriented towards the students.
